Abstract
Die CD-ROM hat in den letzten Jahren Einzug in wissenschaftliche Bibliotheken gehalten. Ihr großer Vorteil gegenüber Büchern liegt in der Unschlagbarkeit als Nachschlagewerke. Die bestehenden Nachteile, wie z.B. die Kostenentwicklung für Lizenzen und die begrenzte Lebensdauer der CD's machen vielen Bibliothekaren Sorgen
