Abstract

Kommunikationsnetze, Massenspeicher und elektronische Medien verändern die wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken, doch ebenso grundlegend drohen sie auch das Beziehungsgeflecht zwischen akademischem Autor, Verlag , Bibliothek und Leser umzukrempeln. In Bielefeld diskutierten auf Einladung der Universitätsbibliothek, des British Council und der Buchhändler-Vereinigung rund 500 Fachleute aus hanz Europa über die Folgen der Elektronisierung für den gesamten Informationsbereich
