Abstract
Seit 1985 bildet der Fachbereich Information und Dokumentation der FH Darmstadt Informationsspezialisten mit dem akademischen Abschluß des/der 'Diplom-Informationswirtes/in' aus. Im Hinblick auf eine inhaltliche Weiterentwicklung des Studienganges lud der Fachbereich zum 26. April 1994 insgesamt 10 Experten zu einem Workshop an die FH ein, um Berufsbild und Praxisanforderungen für seine Absolventen mit Vertretern der Praxis systematisch zu diskutieren. Um die Veranstaltung nicht zu überladen, beschränkte sich die Diskussion auf die Studienrichtung 'Medien- und Wirtschaftsinformation'. Flankierend fand auf der Basis eine IuD-Absolventenbefragung ein Gespräch mit dem zuständigen Referenten des Arbeitsamtes Darmstadt statt, dessen Ergebnisse die des Expertenworkshops ergänzen
