Abstract
Der Beitrag zeigt die operativen Probleme auf, die eine große Bibliothek mit - für ihre Fachgebiete - nationalem Versorgungsauftrag durch die Umstellung des neuen UrhG in Deutschland hat. Durch den Wegfall der gesetzlichen Basis für die elektronische PDF-Lieferung wird der Erwerb entsprechender Lizenzen erforderlich: Neben der aufwändigen Umstrukturierung von IT-Systemen ist die Neugestaltung von Dienstleistungen und deren Preisstrukturen erforderlich, umfangreiche hausinterne Schulungsmaßnahmen für Helpdesk und Kundenberatung sind ebenso notwendig wie Bereitstellung von juristischem Know-how für die Verhandlungen mit den Rechteinhabern.
