Abstract

Seit Platons Zeiten besteht in unserer Erkenntnis das Problem, dass sich die erlebbare Wirklichkeit im Letzten in seltsamer Art einer Beschreibung auf der Basis der Logik entzieht. Die Frage, die Platon an die Realität gestellt und mit seinem berühmten Höhlengleichnis beschrieben hat, ist nach gut zweieinhalbtausend Jahren immer noch unbeantwortet und hochaktuell: Platons Höhlengleichnis: Wir gleichen einem Gefangenen, der mit dem Rücken an eine seitlich vom Höhleneingang befindliche Wand gekettet ist. Die Realität, die sich vor dem Höhleneingang abspielt, erlebet dieser gleichsam nur als Schatten, die durch ein Feuer an die, dem Gefangenen gegenüber befindlichen Wand geworfen werden. Die Töne des Lebens erlebt er in einer, vom Widerhall der Höhle veränderten Form. Nicht die Logik ist das Problem Wenn der Gefangene von Kindesbeinen an diese Realität so und nicht anders erlebt hat, dann wird er nach seiner Befreiung die wahre Wirklichkeit vor der Höhle nicht recht verstehen können. Und wenn er diese wirkliche Realität den anderen noch in der Höhle befindlichen Gefangenen erklären soll, dann wird er auf höchstes Unverständnis treffen. Warum ist die Logik, auf der unsere Sprache basiert, nicht in der Lage diese Seltsamkeit zu erkennen? Um es vorwegzunehmen: Nicht die Logik ist das Problem, sondern das, was wir als "logisch" darstellen auf der Basis vieler unbemerkt übernommener Paradigmen und Wertungssysteme. Eine der wichtigsten und fundamen talsten dieser Paradigmen ist das Grundverständnis über das, was allgemein als "die Realität" schlechthin gewertet wird.
