    Abstract
    Bibliothekare der UB Oldenburg berichten über ihre Erfahrungen, die Praxis und die Planungen mit dem Bibliotheksautomatisierungssystem URICA der Firma McDonnell Douglas. Die Berichte sind keine Werbeschriften, zum Teil stellen sie kritisch die noch notwendigen Anpassungen an die Bedürfnisse in wissenschaftlichen und öffentlichen Bibliotheken aus der Sicht der Oldenburger Erfahrung dar. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden nicht zuletzt auf der Grundlage eines mit der Fa. McDonnell Douglas geschlossenen Beratungsvertrages in die Weiterentwicklung eines Systems URICA-deutsch einfließen
