Abstract
Während sich die Fachwelt noch nicht ganz darüber klar ist, welches Stadium der Informationsgesellschaft wir bereits erreicht ahben, besteht weitestgehend Konsens darüber, daß 'Information' (wie wir sie in Texten komprimiert antreffen) die entscheidende Größe in diesem sozialen gebilde darstellt. Unabhängig davon, in welcher Entwicklungsphase wir uns befinden, eine Korrektur bzw. eine Ergänzung scheint unumgänglich; und dies in Richtung Bildsprache, die bisher noch wenig erforscht ist. Es wird (aus Sicht des informationswissenschaftlich orientierten Marketers) eine Skizze angeboten, in der die Kernelemente einer neuen Bildsprache (key visuals, visual lead und Infografik) vorgestellt werden
