Abstract

Reports findings on Europe as a market for US companies with internationally appealing databases. Diversity of language is not a problem, as users are adjusted to working in English but the products they wish to see are native sources of information, particularly more reliable and detailed business information. Discusses the growing demand for and some dissatisfaction with CD-ROMs and CD-ROM networks. Concludes that there are no insuperable barriers to US marketing success in Europe or vice versa
