Doch eben diese Tatsache macht ihn evolutionär so erfolgreich. Martin Urban zeigt, wie grundlegend die Fähigkeit der Wirklichkeitskonstruktion durch Bilder für den Menschen ist und wie das menschlich Denken und Handeln in allen Bereichen des Lebens davon geprägt wird - sei es im täglichen Umgang, in der Wissenschaft, Kultur, Politik, Medizin Religion, Psychologie, Wirtschaft oder in der Kommunikation.
