Abstract

Die Geschäftsprozess-Orientierung hat sich als wirksames Management-Instrument erwiesen. Modellierungsmethoden und DV-Prozessplattformen haben große Beiträge zum Erfolg dieses Organisationstrends gezeitigt. Der weiter steigende Bedarf an Agilität der Geschäftsprozesse kann durch die Trennung von Geschäftsregeln und -prozessen zusätzlich unterstützt werden. Durch den Einsatz von Geschäftsregeln und deren Kombination mit strategischen Instrumenten wie der Balanced Scorecard sowie dem Paradigma der Prozessorientierung entstehen neue, durchgängige Ansätze zum Geschäftsprozessmanagement.
