Abstract

Um die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit langfristig abzusichern, sieht sich die österreichische Automobilzulieferindustrie vermehrt veranlasst, erhebliche F&E-Leistungen in Form von Kooperationen und Netzwerken abzuwickeln. Im Jahr 2003 wurde aus diesem Grund ein Kompetenznetzwerk "Antriebssysteme der Zukunft" für die österreichischen Fahrzeugund Fahrzeugzulieferindustrie mit Partnern aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft ins Leben gerufen, das sich mit der Entwicklung eines prototypischen alternativen Antriebskonzeptes beschäftigt. Für die nachhaltige Verankerung einer Forschungsstrategie im nationalen Innovationssystem ist die Abstimmung technologischer Ausrichtungen mit beobachtbaren Entwicklungstendenzen von Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft Voraussetzung. Das erfordert höchstmögliche Transparenz über die Strategien international tätiger Unternehmen, über politische Rahmenbedingungen sowie über den aktuellen Stand und das Entwicklungspotenzial von Technologieentwicklungen. In diesem Beitrag wird gezeigt, wie mit Hilfe bibliometrischer Verfahren allgemeine und spezifische Themengebiete des Wissensmarkplatzes "Alternative Antriebstechnologien" sowie die unterschiedlichen Akteure aus Industrie, Politik und Wissenschaft identifiziert werden. Die Art der Vernetzung der Themen und Akteure (Anzahl, Intensität), der Neuigkeitsgrad von einzelnen Themen sowie deren Positionierung im Netzwerk (zentral oder peripher) dienen als relevante Informationen für die Unterscheidung relevanten Wissens von nicht-relevantem Wissen im Sinn der Forschungsausrichtung.
