Abstract
Zu Beginn des Kapital im ersten Kapitel "Die Ware" schreibt Marx: "Der Reichtum der Gesellschaften, in welchen die kapitalistische Produktionsweise herrscht, erscheint als eine ungeheure Warensammlung, die einzelne Ware als seine Elementarform. Unsere Untersuchung beginnt daher mit der Analyse der Ware." Jetzt müssen wir diesen Satz folgendermaßen umformulieren: "Der Reichtum der Gesellschaften, in welchen die digitale Produktionsweise herrscht, erscheint als eine ungeheure Informationssammlung, die einzelne Information als seine Elementarform. Unsere Untersuchung beginnt daher mit der Analyse der Information." Die Information ist aber - ich ändere den folgenden Text von Marx - kein äußerer Gegenstand, kein Ding, das durch seine Eigenschaften menschliche Bedürfnisse irgendeiner Art befriedigt, sondern Information ist ein Prädikat zweiter Ordnung. Menschliche Informationsbedürfnisse werden nicht durch die Eigenschaft eines äußeren Dinges genannt Information befriedigt, sondern ein Ding mit Eigenschaften tritt erst in ein Informationsverhältnis ein, wenn es in einem (digitalen) Wertzusammenhang erfasst wird.
