Abstract

Die BITV ist eine Verordnung zur barrierefreien Informationstechnik. Der BITV-Kurz-test basiert auf dieser Verordnung, er ist ein Prüfverfahren für die einfache, umfassende und zuverlässige Prüfung der Barrierefreiheit von informationsorientierten Webangeboten. Der Artikel erläutert den Ansatz und die Funktionsweise des Prüfverfahrens, er beschreibt Reichweite und Grenzen des Tests und stellt Maßnahmen zur Sicherstellung der Zuverlässigkeit von Bewertungen vor.
