Darin (S.338): "Dienstleistungen im Bereich der Informationserschließung Eine einheitliche Formal- und Sachkatalogisierung der konventionellen und digitalen Bestände an SSG-Bibliotheken ist bis heute nicht erreicht. Aufgrund der wachsenden Internationalisierung von Recherchestrategien und um interdisziplinäre Zugänge in der Vernetzung verschiedener Virtueller Fachbibliotheken zu ermöglichen, istjedoch eine einheitliche Sacherschließung oder eine automatisierte Behandlung heterogener Sacherschließung unumgänglich. Daher sollte an SSG-Bibliotheken zusätzlich zu der Sacherschließung nach RSWK zukünftig auch eine Klassifizierung nach DDC erfolgen. Wie dies zukünftig in die Praxis umgesetzt werden kann und auf welchem Weg eine automatisierte Nachklassifikation der SSG-Bestände möglich ist, soll in einer Machbarkeitsstudie ermittelt werden. Der Ausschuss empfiehlt, für jede Virtuelle Fachbibliothek die folgenden Basisdienste im Bereich der Informationserschließung obligatorisch vorzusehen: - Integrierter Zugriff auf alle fachlich relevanten, konventionellen und digitalen Informationsressourcen über formale und sachliche Suchfunktionen sowie den navigatorischen Zugriff über Fachsystematiken; - Benutzerdefinierte Sichten auf den Informationsbestand nach den Kriterien Materialgattung, Erscheinungszeitraum, Sprache, etc.; - Aktive Informationsvermittlung über neu erworbene Ressourcen durch Neuerwerbungslisten und Syndikationsdienste (z.B. RSS); - Umfassende Einbeziehung der Current-ContentDienste für Zeitschrifteninhalte sowie geeigneter Fachinformationsdatenbanken in das Angebot; - Rascher Aufbau von personalisierten Dienstleistungen für registrierte Benutzer, wie z.B. Informationsdienste nach individuellem Profil, Aufbau individueller Handbibliotheken, etc."
