Abstract
Kap. A 1). Kuhlen, auf den die programmatische Formel "Information ist Wissen in Aktion" zurückgeht, weist darauf hin, dass die Informationswissenschaft "claims to reflect upon the use of information in social environments". Er will "people make sensitive to the fact that information is, above and beyond its technical or computational aspects, a social phenomenon".
