Abstract
Ziel ist die Digitalisierung des analogen »OTTO« Bildarchivs. Behandelt werden unterschiedliche Scannerarten, ihre Anwendungsbereiche und Kaufkriterien, deren technische Parameter für die Scann-Qualität, ihre unterschiedlichen Farbsysteme, Bildformate und deren Kompression, optischen Archivierungsmedien, Reproduktion, Datenorganisation bei Browsing-Diensten und schließlich ein Kategoriensystem, das in das im Unternehmen vorhandene Bilddatenbanksystem IPS aufgenommen werden soll.
