Abstract

Das Aufzeichnen von Vorträgen scheint mittlerweile Alltag in Forschung und Lehre zu werden. Allerdings lässt der Durchbruch immer noch auf sich warten. Warum ist das so? Warum wird nicht jeder Vortrag, jede Vorlesung oder jedes Seminar auf Video aufgezeichnet und bereitgestellt? Zunächst einmal ist es mit dem Aufzeichnen auf Video alleine nicht getan. Während die technische Ausstattung preiswert ist ist die schiere Masse an Handarbeit und der Grad der benötigten Qualifikation sehr hoch und damit auch die Kosten eines Vortragsaufzeichnungssystems. Falls man dann noch versuchen möchte, mehr als Video zu bieten und zusätzliches Material zu sammeln, verlangt man den Präsentierenden Arbeit ab, da die benötigten Informationen nur von ihnen stammen können. Das Vortragsaufzeichnungs-, -analyse und Managementsystem LectureLounge zeigt, dass man computergenerierte Vorträge (z.B. MS PowerPoint) automatisch aufzeichnen und verwalten kann, ohne vom Vortragenden mehr zu verlangen als vorzutragen, und bietet trotzdem direkte Einstiegspunkte in eine multimediale Aufzeichnung des Vortrags.
