Wer im 21. Jahrhundert Bücher verkaufen möchte, braucht dazu nur noch drei Dinge: einen Computer, ein Modem und eine raffinierte Web-Seite - so die Vision der Internet-Experten auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse. Lesewütige gehen demnach regelmäßig im WWW auf Jagd nach Bestsellern und literarischen Leckerbissen. Schon heute bieten hierzulande mehr als 100 Händler ihre Ware in virtuellen Schaufenstern feil. Die Umsätze steigen rasant. Gewinne hingegen lassen auf sich warten
