"Informatiker der Universität Leipzig haben eine kostenlose Software entwickelt, die beim Surfen inhaltlich ähnliche Seiten nennt. Nextlinks erlaube es, sich interessenbezogen im Web zu bewegen, ohne die eigenen Interessen ausdrücklich beschreiben zu müssen. Die kostenlose Software nutzt Algorithmen, die die Abteilung Automatische Sprachverarbeitung am Institut für Informatik entwickelt hat. Wie bei einer Suchmaschine werden zunächst viele Millionen Web-Seiten ausgewertet. Statistische Verfahren ermitteln Ähnlichkeiten.
