Abstract
Describes the information services of the British Council in Germany. In 1993 the british Council and the British Library signed a concordat which aims to make the British Library collections and expertise more readily available abroad while facilitating international library and information service development and strenghtening the position of the British resource on the international scene through cooperation in research and development and other professional matters. Outlines the British Library resource and services. Shows how the British Council in Germany is now acting as an information broker for the services of the british Library and outlines future further cooperation plans
