Content: Ausländische Kollegen beneiden das deutsche Öffentliche Bibliothekswesen glühend um die Lektoratskooperation, eine Selbsthilfeorganisation des Berufsstandes, die in den Siebzigerjahren gegründet wurde, um den Bestandsaufbau effizienter und kostengünstiger zu machen. Seitdem hat die »Leko« viele Krisen gemeistert und ist aus dem Berufsalltag der Bibliotheken nicht mehr wegzudenken. Allerdings - auch die Ansprüche ihrer Abnehmer wachsen, und zu Recht wird gefragt, ob die Strukturen, die nun 25 Jahre Bestand hatten, auch für die Zukunft die richtigen sind
