Abstract

ProQuest Full-Text Newspapers from UMI enables subcribing libraries to make local, regional and national newspapers available from a custom database. It is accessible on the WWW. Describes searching, browsing publications, and viewing results. Recommends the quality, and depth of the database and its interface, but points out difficulties in searching selected publications rather than the entire database and that the 200 document limit may be too retrictive for some users
