Abstract
Die Techniken für eine computer- und Netzbasierte Bildung entwickeln sich stetig fort. Lernende und Lehrer müssen nicht mehr gleichzeitig an einem Ort anwesend sein, um den Unterricht abzuhalten. Bereits jetzt erprobt die FU Hagen den Prototyp einer virtuellen Universität, in der zur Zeit 2.500 Studenten über PC, ISDN und Internet miteinander und mit der Hochschule kommunizieren. Kritiker fürchten indes, daß mit multimedialen Techniken die Grundlagen unserer Kultur verschoben werden und neue Konflikte entstehen
