Abstract
Der Fb Information und Dokumentation der FH Darmstadt arbeitet im Rahmen eines studentischen Projektes an der Durchführung einer neuen Lehrmethode im Internet. Ziel ist es, die Lehrinhalte des Studienganges frei von örtlicher und zeitlicher Begrenzung anzubieten. Der Name dieses neuen Produktes ist 'Distance Learning für IuD'. Im Vorfeld der Projektentwicklung stand eine Bedarfsermittlung, die Aufschluß darüber geben sollte, wie sich zukünftige Nutzerinnen und Nutzer ein solches Angebot vorstellen. Grundlage der Bedarfsanalyse war ein im Rahmen des Projektes entwickelter Fragebogen. Die etwa 400 befragten Personen setzten sich aus Fachfremden, aber auch aus Fachkundigen zusammen, die bereits im Informationssektor tätig sind. Die Auswertung der Fragebögen ergab interessante Ergebnisse über fachliche und technische Voraussetzungen der zukünftigen Nutzer, über gewünschte inhaltliche Schwerpunkte, Kursabschlußwünsche und u.a. auch über den möglichen Zeitaufwand für Distance Learning
