Abstract
Das Forum Info 2000, eine Initiative der Regierung der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, wird unter gemeinsamer Federführung des BMWi und des BMBF durchgeführt. Konstitutives Element und Grundlage der zukünftigen Aktivitäten ist die Zusage zur Mitwirkung von bisher über 170 Spitzenvertretern der wichtigsten gesellschaftlichen Gruppen Deutschlands; als Träger haben sie eine zentrale Rolle im Rahmen des Forums übernommen. Dieses steht unter dem Motto 'Multimedia im Gespräch - Leben und Arbeiten in der Informationsgesellschaft'. Der offizielle Start des Forums Info 2000 war eine Auftaktveranstaltung mit beiden Ministern und Vertretern der Träger am 24. Oktober 1996 in Bonn
