Abstract

Es wird gezeigt, wie der Mensch am Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts der Gefahr einer bisher unbekannten globalen Umweltkrise ausgesetzt ist: der heutige ungleichgewichtige Stand der Natur kann leicht in einen neuen ungleichgewichtigen Stand übergegehn - aber ohne den Menschen. Es wird behauptet, daß in dieser Situation die Information vor allem als psycho-physiologisches Phänomen, die Informationswissenschaft als Wissenschaft mit Gewissen und alle (auch neue) Medien als zweischneidige Werkzeuge zu erfassen, wichtig ist
