Die Begriffe 'Ordnung', 'Unordnung' und 'Ordnungsgrad' werden definiert und im Lichte von Zitaten aus der Literatur sowie an Beispielen aus der Natur, der bildenden Kunst und der Musik betrachtet. Es zeigt sich, daß ein Anteil an 'Unordnung' ein essentielles Merkmal des Lebendigen ist
