    Abstract
    Durch den Konfessionswechsel des Kölner Erzbischofs zum Protestantismus und der Weigerung, sein Amt aufzugeben, entwickelte sich der Kölner Krieg zu einer internationalen Auseinandersetzung, in die auch die römische Kurie, spanische und niederländische Truppen eingriffen. Für die Mediengeschichte ist dieser religionspolitische Konflikt von großer Bedeutung, da 1583 hier das erste periodisch erscheinende Druckmedium, die »Messrelation«, entstand. Auch andere tagesaktuelle Druckschriften versuchten, auf den Ausgang des Krieges einzuwirken. Die Studie stellt diese Drucke zusammen und analysiert ihre Rolle in einer Zeit, in der nur ein kleiner Teil der Bevölkerung lesen konnte.

    Abstract
    Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (DNB) erstellt für Netzpublikationen seit Anfang 2010 keine intellektuell per Autopsie und nach gültigem Regelwerk (RAK-WB bzw. RAK-NBM) erschlossen Titeldaten mehr. Da das stetig wachsende Kontingent an Netzpublikationen durch intellektuelle Bearbeitung nicht mehr zu bewältigen ist, wurde mit dem Projekt PETRUS damit begonnen, die Erschließungsprozesse für Netzpublikationen zu automatisieren.

    Abstract
    Die Komplexität des Entwurfs von Hypermedia-Systemen ist vergleichbar mit der Komplexität des Entwurfs von Expertensystemen, verlangt also nach einer methodischen Unterstützung im Entwurfsprozeß. Von dieser Motivation ausgehend, wird im vorliegenden Beitrag zunächst eine Analyse bestehender Dokumentenmodellierungsansätze durchgeführt, dann ein Ansatz zur formalen Beschreibung von Hypertext-Strukturen vorgestellt und schließlich mit dem Spatial-Satellite-Modell ein Beschreibungsansatz für Hypermedia-Strukturen präsentiert. Ausgehend von diesem Modell wird eine Entwurfsmethodik für Hypermedia-Systeme entwickelt, die als Ausgangspunkt für die Entwicklung eines Verständnisses für die Notwendigkeit eines 'Hypermedia-Engineering' bilden

    Moderne Bibliothekssysteme werden zunehmend als Software as a Service (SaaS) angeboten. Die Berliner Bibliotheken der Freien Universität Berlin, der Humboldt Universität, der Technischen Universität und der Universität der Künste haben für 2016 gemeinsam den Umstieg auf das cloudbasierte Bibliothekssystem Alma beschlossen. Der Aufsatz berichtet über die Herausforderungen während der zweijährigen Vertragsverhandlungen mit besonderem Augenmerk auf den Datenschutz.

    Abstract
    Im September 2013 verkündete Google den schon einen Monat vorher ausgerollten völlig neuen Algorithmus mit dem Namen "Hummingbird". Der Name wurde bewusst gewählt. Schließlich zeichnet den "Kolibri" seine äußerst schnelle und dabei doch präzise Methodik aus. Searchmetrics hat analysiert, wie sich der neue Algorithmus auf die SERPs auswirkt. Ergebnis: Die Diversität der Suchergebnisse hat abgenommen. Google zeigt zunehmend "gleichere" Resultate für semantisch äquivalente Queries an.
