    Auf der Basis der Anregungen und Ergebnisse der im Herbst 1995 and der SuUB Göttingen durchgeführten Nachlaßbearbeitertagung wurden die vorliegenden Regeln zur Erschließung von NAchlässen und Autographen unter Beteiligung von Archivaren, Bibliothekaren und Wissenschaftlern erarbeitet. Das Regelwerk bietet vor allem Standards für eine nach formalen Kriterien erfolgende Erschließung schriftlicher Nachlaßmaterialien und für die Erfassung nachlaßrelevanter Personennamen.
