    Abstract
    Datenformate dienen als Grundlage für die Strukturierung von bibliographischen Daten in EDV-Systemen. Ihr Einfluß auf wesentliche Funktionen wie Recherche, Anzeige und Ausgabe wird häufig unterschätzt und insbesondere bei der Auswahl eines EDV-Systems nicht genügend berücksichtigt. Der hier vorliegende, aus 2 Teilen bestehende Beitrag will dise Zusammenhänge erläutern und ihre Problematik diskutieren
