Abstract

Following a redesign of the major public services points for the Davidson Library, the University of California, Santa Barbara's general library, a LAN-based classroom/teaching laboratory was developed in the library which was designed to teach users how to search electronic bases effectively. Describes how the classroom was set and how it works and discusses lessons learned from its implementation
