Abstract

Describes theis British text and document information management system specifically designed for applications where users need rapid answers to searches. It is claimed that the range of search interfaces makes it appropriate for use by everyone from novice to experienced database searcher. HEADFAST runs on IBM PC compatibles under MS-DOS, a Windows version is forthcoming, and various other enhancements are planned
