Abstract

The 14 chapters of this book cover the central ideas and concepts of chaos and fractals. They show how these topics relate to each other as well as to many other areas of mathematics and natural phenomena. The book can be understood by readers at almost any mathematical level and is supplemented in each chapter by sections that contain rigorous mathematics for those who want a more in-depth explanantion.
