Abstract

Describes the creation of a United Nations sponsored information network concerned with vocational and technical training which used UNESCO's CDS/ISIS as software and floppy disks to disseminate the resulting database. Following this success, Australia's Vocational and Training Database used a similar approach with great success to distribute a database to a large number of end users
