Abstract

CD-ROM technology has grown to the extent that libraries include such products routinely. This creates the need for end user instruction. The claims by publishers that their products are easy to learn to use and do not need much instruction have not been realised. Discusses formats in use today in libraries for meeting the challenge of CD-ROM end user instruction
