Abstract

Describes Cleveland (Ohio) Free-Net, a free, open-access community computer system established in 1986 and operated by Case Western Reserve Univ., that allows anyone with a computer and a modem to connect 24 hours a day to a multitude of features. It offers access to numerous library catalogues and electronic mail services in area such as education, government, the arts, law, health care, and the sciences.
