Abstract
Zur Eröffnung der ISI2021, dem 16. Internationalen Symposium für Informationswissenschaft, hat Prof. Dr. WolfRauch, Emeritus der Universität Graz, einen Festvortrag gehalten, dessen Manuskript wir hier mit seinem Einverständ-nis zum Nachlesen abdrucken. Wie freuen uns, ebenso wieder Autor, über Reaktionen in Form von Kommentaren oder Leserbriefen und auf eine lebendige fruchtbare Diskussion.
