Abstract
Die Gefahr ist seit Jahren erkannt, aber keineswegs gebannt: Internet-Folgen treffen Öffentlichkeit und Arbeitswelt bis ins Mark. Wer darf bei diesem Artikel gähnen? - Nicht einmal der Gemüsehändler, dem künftig Lieferdienste das Wasser abgraben. Nicht der Gitarren-Lehrer, der plötzlich weltweite Konkurrenz erhält. Und erst recht nicht der zu diesem Thema schon häufiger besprochene Journalist, dessen Angebote mit tausendfacher Gratis-Ware im Netz konkurrieren. Digitalisierung, Vernetzung und Automatisierung sind Prinzipien, mit denen verantwortliche Politiker im Lebensalter 40+ weder in ihrem Studium noch einem früheren Berufsleben, so vorhanden, eigene Erfahrungen machten. Vorab dazu dies Wesentliche: Nicht alle absehbaren Entwicklungen sind apokalyptisch. Bei allen Armuts- und Gewaltproblemen im Rest der Welt blinken sie für die Industrienationen geradezu verheißungsvoll, was die Reduktion von körperlicher Belastung und Zeitaufwand der Werktätigen betrifft. Für eine wünschenswerte Realisierung des "Arbeitens 4.0" (so der Titel eines Weißbuchs vom Arbeitsministerium) sind jedoch weitere Paradigmenwechsel in Miteinander und Administration dringend erforderlich, wie gleich zu zeigen.
