Abstract

The Keyword File Title Classification System is now widely employed in private and public organisations throughout Australia 2 commercial versions of which exist - one developed by J. Eddis Linton and the other by the New South Wales Records Management Office - and both of which are addressed. Explains the system in principle, reviews its development, discusses responses to a simple survey presented to Western Australian users and critically assesses it both in the light of consulting activities and survey findings
