Abstract
Was macht die neue IT-Infrastruktur für deutsche Bibliotheken? Wird das CIB-Projekt sie bringen? Was machen die Verbünde? Die Autoren (damals mit Hermann Kronenberg) haben 2012 aus Anlass der DFG-Ausschreibung eine Neustrukturierung nach dem Stand der Technik vorgeschlagen. Das von der DFG 2013 genehmigte CIB-Projekt geht in die gleiche Richtung. Inzwischen versuchen sich die Verbünde einzeln neu zu positionieren - und einige sehr geschickt. Wie wird so eine gemeinsame neue Infrastruktur entstehen? Die Grundfrage "regional-national-international" hat sich nicht geändert, aber wo werden die Lösungen erarbeitet? Jedenfalls sind die Verbünde und Bibliotheken immer noch zu sehr mit der Verbesserung der alten Arbeitsabläufe und Dienstleistungen beschäftigt und kümmern sich noch zu wenig um die neuen Lösungen, z.B. die optimierte Informationsversorgung der Wissenschaftler.
