Abstract

Das ZfBB-Themenheft »Den Wandel gestalten - Informations-Infrastrukturen im digitalen Zeitalter« (ZfBB 58 [2011], Heft 3-4) versuchte sich in einer »Standortbestimmung für alle zentralen Handlungsfelder der Informationsversorgung«. Eine kritische Lektüre des Themenheftes zeigt indessen, dass diese »Standortbestimmung« sowohl die kritische Reflexion ihrer Grundbegriffe als auch die Auseinandersetzung mit den Gegenargumenten versäumt und damit keinen Diskurs eröffnet, sondern lediglich den institutionellen Ort markiert, von dem die Umstellung der Bibliotheken auf Informationsversorgungseinrichtungen ihren Ausgang nimmt. Dieser Ort ist der »Ausschuss für Wissenschaftliche Bibliotheken und Informationssysteme«.
