Abstract: Die Deutsche Zentralbibliothek für Wirtschaftswissenschaften - Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft hat im Herbst 2011 die Version 8.08 des Standard-Thesaurus Wirtschaft (STW) veröffentlicht und damit einen weiteren Meilenstein in ihrer Linking-Open-Data-Strategie erreicht. Der STW enthält nun erstmals Verbindungen zu vier weiteren Vokabularen in der Linked Open Data Cloud. Es wurden Kreuzkonkordanzen geschaffen zur Schlagwortnormdatei (SWD), zum Thesaurus Sozialwissenschaften, der alle Disziplinen der Sozialwissen schaften abdeckt und zur Erschließung in den Datenbanken SOFIS und SOLIS genutzt wird, zu AGROVOC, dem mehrsprachigen Thesaurus der FAO - Ernährungs- und Landwirtschafts organisation der Vereinten Nationen für den Bereich der Agrarwissenschaften, Forst wirt schaft, Fischerei, Nahrungsmittel und verwandter Gebiete wie Ernährung und Umwelt, sowie zu DBpedia, einem Gemeinschaftsprojekt der Universität Leipzig, der Freien Universität Berlin und OpenLink Software (Burlington USA), zur Extraktion strukturierte Informationen aus Wikipedia für andere Web-Anwendungen.
