Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek hat die 7. Ergänzungslieferung zur 3., überarbeiteten und erweiterten Auflage der "Regeln für den Schlagwortkatalog (RSWK)" veröffentlicht. Ergänzungslieferung handelt es sich in erster Linie um Änderungen aufgrund der 6. Ergänzungslieferung der RSWK. Die Revision dieser grundlegenden Paragrafen hat viele weitere Änderungen im Regelwerk nach sich gezogen. Die geänderten Paragrafen 13-15 RSWK haben zu einer deutlichen Verschlankung des Regelwerks geführt. Außerdem wurden Korrekturen aufgrund der geänderten RAK-Musik in den RSWK-Paragrafen zu Musikalien, die auf RAK-Musik basieren, nachgeführt. Der § 715 wurde gemäß einer bereits im Mai 2007 getroffenen Entscheidung angepasst. Die Expertengruppe Sacherschließung hat die Änderungen an den RSWK auf ihrer Sitzung am 2. Februar 2010 beschlossen und anschließend dem Standardisierungsausschuss vorgelegt. Der Standardisierungsausschuss hat in einem Umlaufverfahren im April 2010 einer Veröffentlichung und Inkraftsetzung zugestimmt. Die Papierausgabe der 7.
