Abstract

Am 28.2.2007 fand in Salzburg die konstituierende Sitzung der VÖB-Arbeitsgruppe zur Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK) statt. Die erste dringende Aufgabe der neu gegründeten Arbeitsgruppe bestand in der Analyse der bestehenden RVK-Systematik für das deutsche Recht (=Notation "P") und der Ausarbeitung eines für Österreich geeigneten Spezifikationsvorschlages, da sich der Bereich Recht in der RVK für Österreich als nicht zufrieden stellend erwies. Der erste Entwurfeiner RVK-Systematik zum österreichischen Recht betraf den Bereich Ausländisches und vergleichendes Verwaltungsrecht, Ausländische Verwaltungslehre und Verwaltungspolitik/Österreich, mit der Notation PN 981 und beruhte auf einem Vorschlag von Frau DI Elisabeth Lichtenberg-Putz und Herrn Mag. Andre Hensel, beide von der FH-Bibliothek Kärnten. Man einigte sich in der Arbeitsgruppe darauf, nach Möglichkeit die deutschen Notationen zu übernehmen, indem sie an die Österreichische Notation mit einem Punkt angehängt werden. Vereinfacht kann man diese Umsetzung als Punktlösung bezeichnen. Zur besseren Verständlichkeit ein einfaches Beispiel: die bestehende deutsche Notation für Gewerbe und Berufsrecht lautet PN 702 bis PN 739. Die vergleichbare österreichische Notation lautet PN 981.702 bis PN 981.739. Dieses einfache Grundprinzip sollte bei allen RVK Erweiterungen zum Österreichischen Recht berücksichtigt werden. In der Sitzung der Kommission für Sacherschließung vom 19.6.2007 war auch die damalige Leiterin der Koordinationsstelle und Fachreferentin für Recht an der UB Regensburg, Frau Dr. Barbara Leiwesmeyer, als Gast geladen. Sie hat in dieser Sitzung der Vorgangsweise bei PN 981 zugestimmt.
