Abstract

Emphasizes the importance of the principles, techniques and tools of traditional library services such as, users needs study, classification, etc. in the digital era. Education and training of library and information professional to fit into the emerging information society and digital era should include both conventional (or traditional) knowledge organization theories and methodologies as well as the application of information and communication technologies.
