Abstract

Das Internet ist zu einer globalen Wissensplattform geworden mit vielen bedeutsamen Informationen für Competitive Intelligence. Für eine erfolgreiche CI-Analyse müssen relevante Änderungen im Unternehmensumfeld bekannt sein und aus der großen Menge der unstrukturierten Informationen das Wesentliche herausgefiltert werden. Dies lässt sich nur mit einer informationstechnischen Unterstützung effizient erreichen. Mit der an der Ruhr Universität Bochum erarbeitet Lösung osivo ist es möglich, relevante Internetquellen automatisch zu beobachten und sich bei inhaltlichen Veränderungen benachrichtigen zu lassen. In einem weiteren Schritt werden die Textinformationen auf ihren Zusammenhang hin untersucht und in einer "assoziativen Wolke" das Wesentliche angezeigt, was zu einer schnelleren Erfassung großer Mengen von Inhalten und der Veränderungen bei Mitbewerbern und im Unternehmensumfeld führt.
