"Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek veröffentlicht auf ihrer Website die Aktualisierung 2006 der RAK-Musik-Anlage M 9 "Maßgebliche Werkverzeichnisse und Zählweise der Werke in Einheitssachtiteln" in elektronischer Form <http://nbn-resolving.de/urn: nbn:de:1111-20040721181>. Die Aktualisierung 2006 steht kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Aus technischen Gründen sind die Seiten 113 und 124 enthalten, um einen doppelseitigen Ausdruck zu ermöglichen, welcher in die Loseblattausgabe der RAK-Musik-Ausgabe 2003 eingelegt werden kann. Die auf den genannten beiden Seiten enthaltenen Anlagen M 4c bis 8 und M 10 sind nicht verändert worden. Über die in der Aktualisierung 2006 umgesetzten Veränderungen und Ergänzungen haben die Musikabteilungen der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin Preußischer Kulturbesitz und der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek München sowie das Deutsche Musikarchiv der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek Einvernehmen erzielt. Der Standardisierungsausschuss hat in einem Umlaufverfahren im September 2006 einer Veröffentlichung und Inkraftsetzung zugestimmt. Für die Aktualisierung 2006 sind u.a. neue Werkverzeichnisse von Graupner, Pachelbel und Janâcek sowie neuere Auflagen der Werkverzeichnisse von Britten, Schönberg und Vivaldi aufgenommen worden. Die Aktualisierung 2006 ersetzt die Aktualisierung 2005. Es ist vorgesehen, Anlage M 9 etwa jährlich zu aktualisieren. Die Arbeitsstelle für Standardisierung nimmt Anträge und Vorschläge gerne entgegen. Allen, die zur Aktualisierung 2006 Vorschläge geschickt haben und an der Umsetzung mitgewirkt haben, sagen wir Dank."
