"Ex Libris Deutschland teilt mit, dass die Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zürich) sich nach einem Auswahlprozess für die Such-und Bereitstellungslösung Primo von Ex Libris entschieden hat. Primo wird das Schlüsselelement des ETH Wissensportals werden, das über ein herkömmliches Bibliotheksprojekt hinausgeht. »Wir haben eine große Anzahl verschiedener Produkte evaluiert und sind zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass Primo die beste Plattform zur Erfüllung unseres Ziels ist, nämlich der Integration aller Informationsressourcen der ETH-Bibliothek und der ETH Zürich«, erklärt Arlette Piguet, Projektmanagerin des Wissensportals der ETH Zürich. »Wir waren beeindruckt vom tiefen Wissen des Ex-LibrisTeams in diesem Bereich und wir freuen uns auf die enge Zusammenarbeit bei diesem sehr strategischen Projekt«, merkt Andreas Kirstein an, Leiter der Bibliotheks-IT und stellvertretender Bibliotheksdirektor an der ETH. Marc Daubach, Corporate Vice President und General Manager für Europa bei Ex Libris, kommentiert: »Wir schätzen die strategische Beziehung mit der ETH Zürich und freuen uns, dass die Einrichtung Primo als ihre Wunschlösung gewählt hat.«"
