Abstract
Wikis sind eine bestimmte Form offener Content-Management-Systeme. Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit einigen wichtigen Mustern, die zur zielgerichteten Entwicklung der Inhalte in Wikis beitragen. Diese Muster werden exemplarisch am Beispiel der Wikipedia erläutert, einer freien Online-Enzyklopädie. Ebenfalls kurz umrissen werden die Hintergründe, die zur Einrichtung der Wikipedia führten, weiterhin wird eine grobe Typologisierung von Wikis vorgeschlagen.
