"Das Portal "Verteilte Digitale Inkunabelbibliothek (vdlb)" ist seit Mitte des Jahres online. Es stehen mehr als 550 digitalisierte Inkunabeln zur Verfügung. Mit der gemeinsamen Digitalisierung von mehr als 1.000 der geschätzten 27.000 Inkunabeln wird ein signifikanter Teil erschlossen sein. Im Workshop am 2./3.11.2005 an der Universität Köln wird beraten: - Welches Interesse haben wir an Inkunabeln und warum sollten sie über Internet zur Verfügung gestellt werden? - Wie ist das Angebot des vdlb-Portals methodisch und inhaltlich zu bewerten? - Welche Perspektiven gibt es für eine Gesamtdigitalisierung aller Inkunabelausgaben und für die Konstituierung eines zentralen Portals?"
